Home Improvement Specialist - Roofing Mechanic

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated team player to join 5 Star Roofing and Siding as a Full-Time Roofing Mechanic. The ideal candidate will repair and/or replace both new and existing roofing in a professional and business-like manner. 5 Star Roofing and Siding has been specializing in Roofing, Siding, Windows, and Interiors & is one of the highest-rated contractors in the South Jersey area for over 40 years. Job Responsibilities:

Work as part of a crew of Home Improvement Specialists that complete various functions including, but not limited to: tear-off/repair/replacement for new and existing roofing in the timetable allotted with minimal supervision.
Ability to safely move and use ladders and other power equipment
Works well with others and performs the tasks assigned with neatness and accuracy, always adhering to all safety rules.
Maintain a professional appearance at all times while on the job. Be respectful of the homeowner and surrounding area as it pertains to language, noise, music, and proper use of equipment in the absence of a crew leader.
Respond daily to customers’ questions and concerns on the job site (and in the absence of a crew leader).
Report any issues and/or concerns to the general manager or owner promptly.

Experience and Requirements:

Experience within the Home Improvement industry.
Prior experience as a Roofer is required
Ability to work with customers & complete a project on time
Must possess knowledge of job-site safety and equipment, with a clear understanding of the products and how they are used.
Must follow all preparation procedures and have a thorough understanding of the Home Improvement process

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain open appointment availability for potential customers and achieve sales goals.
Build customer relationships with both Residential & Commercial prospects
Provide on-site and remote one-on-one customer consultations.
Create a customized and detailed proposal for customers based on each of their individual needs.
Consistently close new business opportunities

Experience and Requirements:

2+ years of sales experience in the Home Services industry
Driver’s license with a clean driving record
Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills
Must be goal-oriented, competitive, and looking to take control of their career.
